Thursday, 6pm: Policy Hacking: Let’s All Comment on TXDOT’s I-35 Proposals

What should we do to fix the I-35 corridor? What should TXDOT be trying to achieve in its design? How should its process work with community leaders, residents, and businesses to optimize this plan?

Join us at the monthly Policy Hacking Meetup on Zoom
Thursday, December 3, 6 – 7:30 pm

A crucial public comment period is open now for the central Austin portion of the I-35 corridor. You have until December 31, 2020 to submit your thoughts and questions to TXDOT Austin. This is the first scoping phase of this process, which will determine the “purpose and need” and meaningful alternatives that will be considered in the multi-year process.

You can read and comment on the TXDOT proposals here

The presentation at this month’s Policy Hacking will walk through everything that TXDOT has proposed, to help you make your own comments on the project. If you have been studying the documents and would like some time on the agenda to present your own findings or alternative proposals, please contact jay@farmandcity.org.
